Hello Everyone, and Happy Holidays! We've been hard at work behind the scenes sprucing up the website, with plenty of new things on tap in 2019, including trip planning and travel history. We've also begun posting on social media every day, and plan to deepen those ties as well in the upcoming year.
Some of you have reported confusion, if not downright bafflement, on how to update your counts in the new interface. It's actually a really powerful platform, so here's a quick primer:
- Log in
- Select "Update My Counts" from your personal menu (this is the menu in the upper right which appears once you log in)
- MTP Locations in Map View is the default. Just click on the map to update your locations.
- Click the down arrow next to 'MTP Locations' to change the listtype (to WHS, Restaurants, etc)
- Click the down arrow next to the map icon to change the view (to regional checklist or difficulty view)
- Click the down arrow next to 'Update' in order to view only your Visited or Remaining items in that list
You can view and update any of the lists by map, regional checkbox, or difficulty, and also view only visited or remaining items for any list.
There is also a Places menu in the upper left which is a similar interface with no checkboxes; this is for non-members to view the lists as well.
As promised, we will be making a few list changes by the end of the year, and I thought it highly fitting to deliver the first of these on Christmas Day. So keep an eye out for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. He'll be traveling to all 873 MTP Locations bringing presents around - let's see what he has in his bag for us! Any guesses what these new gifts could be...??
