Hello Everyone,

Well, it's two weeks since our rollout of the new MTP Master List of 1500 locations, and (knock wood) the transition has been smooth. We continue to release new versions of our iOS and Android apps, and to enhance the website.  Have a browse around if you haven't done so in a while.

We've updated the FAQ on the site to explain the evolution of the MTP Master List, and the momentous nature of our incorporation of NomadMania (NM) regions. A reminder that, if you are an current NM member, you can import your visits HERE, or go to Settings > Import Visits on the app.  If you're not with NM, then the easiest way to update is through clicking on your MTP map on the web, or if you're on the app, to click through the mini-map on Profile > About.

Also new is a Shrine to our MTP Pioneers – the Top MTP travelers as of midnight, Dec 31, 2022 (when our momentous changes went into effect).

I'd like to take a moment to introduce Loïc Pedras, our new CEO, who is a big traveler in his own right (612 MTP regions as of today!), and will be overseeing MTP's day-to-day operations. Of course, we are a very small organization, but we continue to grow beyond the ability of one person to keep up, and with big plans for 2023, are very glad to have Loïc on the job!  You can see Loïc and the team HERE – scroll down also to find the esteemed members of our Steering Committee, whom we announced at Christmas.

As I've mentioned before, with the integration of NM regions into the MTP Master List, we hope to work more closely with NM beginning in 2023. To find out more, mark your calendars for March 25, at 17:00 GMT, when NM Founder Harry Mitsidis and I will appear together for a travel chat hosted by our good friend Ric Gazerian, co-creator of the Extraordinary Travel Festival (ETF) and host of Counting Countries (here's Ric interviewing me pre-pandemic).   Scroll down for a HUGE banner about this exciting event.

Finally, keep your eyes peeled for this summer as we plan our first-ever MTP Summit – a huge meet-up in a mystery MTP locale. Think of it as ETF 2023! :)

As always, don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or just to chat.  Thank you for your support, and thank you for being a part of MTP!

Happy Travels!    -Charles
