MTP Summit Registration is Open!
MTP News

We're pleased to announce that registration for the upcoming MTP Summit 2023: Jungle Edition is open!!  We welcomed the first wave of registrants over the weekend.

You can either register at the MTP website, or just scan this QR code:

It seems that interest in the Annobon sidetrip on June 24 is high. And although we are still in negotiations about the price, we can say that - presuming we reach acceptable terms with the gov't - we plan to offer Annobon to people in the order in which they registered for the full conference (first come-first served to those who have paid). Of course, the Annobon trip will only be available to those who have registered for the main conference, and will not be for sale on its own.

To remind everyone of the basic program details:

When: June 21-25, 2023

Where: Hotel Djibloho, Ciudad de la Paz, Equatorial Guinea (5-star hotel operating in the partially-built new capital city being carved out from the jungle).

What: June 21 - Arrival and Welcome Dinner;  June 22-23 - Conference with speakers;  June 24 - Optional Sidetrip to Annobon (daytrip with separate cost), and Farewell Dinner;  June 25 - Departure.

Who: All travelers and aspiring travelers are welcome to attend!

How Much: US$875 ($699 Earlybird price before April 1). Includes 4 nights in a 5-star hotel, full conference access, all food & beverage (excludes alcohol), and scheduled ground transfers from Bata (BSG).  Annobon pricing TBD, and is expected to be limited to a single charter flight of 50 people.

Visas: All registered attendees will be eligible for preferred visa treatment from the Equatorial Guinean Government. We expect that this will either be through e-visa or VOA, as the Equatorial Guinea e-visa system is in the process of being launched now.  The ability to ensure visas for our group is a primary reason we chose this venue, and is a kind of gift to the travel community, as Equatorial Guinea is a notoriously difficult visa for non-Americans to obtain!

Stay tuned in the coming days and weeks for details on Speakers, Visa process, Annobon pricing, and more!

Look forward to seeing you there!  -Charles, Loïc and the MTP Team
