And special good wishes to Don Parrish, Terry Last, Roman Bruehwiler and Jeroen Agneessens (the organizer), departing Friday on the FIRST EVER organized tourism expedition (certainly that we've ever heard of) to Islas Salas y Gomez. Crossing fingers for good weather and safe landings! We want to hear all about it when you get back!
Now that we're into the holiday season, it's time to start thinking about that recent Christmas tradition we began last year: The Updating of the MTP list! What presents will we find under the tree this year? Last year we added 19 items and dropped one. This year, what shall we do?
We used to run a voting system where list changes were fast and furious, but that was too cumbersome to administer, and the changes were too frequent and inconsistent. After Swizerland was voted to be split into 26 cantons, I stopped the process. This is why some countries such as Germany and France are divided, while other larger countries like DRC and Kazakhstan are not.
I prefer the idea of freshening up the list once a year, and this year would like everyone's input.
Please let me know what changes you would like to see, by sending a message to Charles HERE, or by simply emailing me at charles@mtp.travel. We can add items, remove items, divide items, consolidate items... anything and everything is on the table. Of course, not all suggestions can be accommodated - The only thing I can promise is that the list will not stay the same - so say good bye to 891 :)
